Mother's Day and Beautiful Sound

Ryan surprised me with the most wonderful Mother’s day gift. It was a beautiful Baby Angel charm from James Avery. It is the best first Mother’s day gift ever! Right now I am wearing it on my necklace. Once school is out I am going to get it on my charm bracelet along with all of my special charms from my wonderful husband.

I had my regular 4 week appointment. I spent more time in the waiting room that in the doctor’s office. But it was all worth it because I got to hear that wonderful sound ….. Baby P’s beating little heart! I am still so amazed that I am hearing that sound! I could listen to it all day! I was so happy the RN kept the Doppler on there for a good 2 minutes. Such a sweet sound!
I have been feeling pretty good. I think the anytime of day sickness has worn off, but now I am getting horrible headaches! Of course, Tylenol is the ONLY thing I can take and it is NOT working! The doctor told me it is a pregnancy thing and they should subside in a few weeks. In a few weeks school will be out so I am sure the headaches will be gone!

I am so excited for the summer break! I am actually looking forward to cleaning and getting ready for the new addition. I have already recruited my mom to help – Thanks Mom, I love you! Moms are the best! I cannot wait to be one! I have learned from the best so I think I will do just fine!

Looking Good!!!

Ryan and I went in for our second ultrasound today. It is amazing how much our little Baby P has changed! The first thing we heard was the heat just beating away at 160 beats per minute and saw s/he measuring 12 weeks and 3 days! It took a while for the little one to get moving around. After Momma did a little walking around, sitting up and ate a little chocolate s/he finally wiggled a little and stretched its arms and legs. The doctor said things looked great! Things looked like they were developing well and most importantly had a strong umbilical cord. We even saw just a little more than expected …. The doctor in about 8o% just that it is a boy! It could have been a foot, but I am thinking that he is probably right. We will know for sure in 6 weeks when we go back for another ultrasound. Here are a few pictures:

Please continue to keep our Baby P in your prayers. So far they seem to be working! Thank you!
